2. Use Filters to Refine Your Search
Find care that suits your family by using filters such as:

- CPR Certified
- Languages spoken
These filters help you narrow down providers that match your specific needs.
3. Read Profiles & Reach Out Directly
Once you find someone you’re interested in, click on their listing to:

4. Background Checks Reviewed
All caregivers on UmahCare are required to submit a recent background check before their listing is published. We review these submissions as part of our listing process.
UmahCare does not conduct independent background investigations or certify caregivers. Families are encouraged to complete any additional screening they consider appropriate before hiring.
5. Make Arrangements Off-Platform
Once you’ve selected a care provider, you may:
- Interview them
- Request references
- Arrange payment terms privately
We do not take a cut of payments or manage employment contracts. Our role is to help you connect — safely and clearly.
